Wheel Check Indicators

Who uses Wheel Check Indicators, and have you ever discovered a loose Lug Nut since you installed these?

2nd question: Which of the following images shows the correct way to install them?

3rd question: How often do you check them?

I had to look up the answer. I never personally used them but see them all the time. Some fleets it is a requirement. Both your photos are acceptable as long as every indicator is semetrical which shows there has been no irregular movement - is the way I gather it.
Am I correct?

Ive had these on for awhile. Showed a different position, turns out it had snapped. Good and easy way to notice problems...

Those are made for hub pilot wheels, LVMCI is the only person I ever saw using those on stud pilot wheels,I thought they were only made in Metric sizes for the hub pilot wheels but could be wrong lol but to lazy to check
