Do you tow a Toad i.e. Toad Vehicle?  I do because I am a Fulltimer and need a vehicle to get around town when I am parked.  I tow a 2005 Lexus LX 470. It is not designed to be towed but I installed a Superior Driveline mechanical disconnect on my Lexus so I can disconnect the driveline when under tow.

What is the length of your bus and do you tow a vehicle and if so what?  I assume that people with shorter buses, may not tow a vehicle as they can park in more places.  Some people may carry bicycles, E-bikes, or motorcycles instead.  If so, what do you carry and how?

Hi Gary ,

We tow a 2001 Jeep Wrangler on our 45' MCI DL3 bus.
It's very easy to tow w/ the Wrangler.  But it is a little inconvenient as we frequently have guests with us and it's difficult for the wives to crawl out of the back seat.   :D

I know this guy that tows a car that doesn't run, a Harley that doesn't run his E bike is the only thing that runs.he is fully prepared .We have always towed Jeeps, the dolly or trailer was to much a hassle, the Envoy is easy to tow though but like your 470 it is a heavy sucker

In the past before rental cars got so expensive, we towed nothing sometimes, I could rent a car then for a week what it cost now for 1 day, when we parked, they would deliver and pick up the rental car we always done that when we were in a hurry to go some place

I pulled a Samurai, started out with a towbar but later started loading it on the flat bed trailer. That took care of backing, worries about leaving it in gear and miles on the toad but meant having to put the trailer somewhere. Happily having a hitch on the Sammy made that easier.

This time around I am reserving a bay with the possibility of creating a parasite toad to be hauled internally. It's possible but it won't be especially easy and won't begin to happen until the bus build is near completion.

I saw it on the Internet. It MUST be true...

I flat tow a 2003 five-speed manual VW Jetta TDI Sportwagon. At 3100 lbs, don't even know it's back there. Since it's a wagon, it serves double duty as a quasi-pickup, too. Plus, being a diesel, it gives me 40+ mpg running around town.
