My grandkids in the Texas City area (La Marque) say they are paying $2.00 a gal at the Valero stations in the area, the ones living south of Dallas are paying on the average of $2.25 there

Weird side effect of optimizing refining for Diesel/heating oil maybe?

88 is for flex fuel vehicles here ,around here 87 is unleaded with 10 % ethanol,I don't use either even in the lawn mower

No, 88 blue label is 15% for use in vehicles after 2001. Flex fuel vehicles can use the yellow label 55 to 83% ethanol. The sign at the pumps specifically states NOT to be used on lawn mowers, gas generators, etc. I filled up the Vitara today, almost empty tank. Drove about 100 miles today and no difference in drivability. Liked 12 gallons for 23 something. With my cards discounts, 8 cents, $191.9. Ends tomorrow.

We have no blue label here only the yellow green nozzle people paying no attention fill their buses with,I don't use the unleaded with ethanol in anything with carburetors I can buy racing fuel for 10 bucks a gallon and come out better than buying the premix for 24 bucks a gallon by far for my 2-stroke stuff,I buy the 96 for the small 4 strokes with no ethanol,I like ethanol about as much as I do the bio added diesel fuel

We have the blue handle covers here at a half dozen stations that carry NON ethanol gas,, it's up to the customer to deal with the legalities..  I use nothing else for mowers and small engined items..  Those same stations will not carry bio of any kind in there diesel..>>>Dan

A few Sheetz here carry ethanol free fuel. To far away from me and priced like their premium. Only small gas anymore is My John Deere X394 lawn mower and Honda EU300is. Both have been running regular unleaded with 10% ethanol for more than 5 years without issues or complaints.
