Is there going to be at Arcadia Bus rally in Florida this year? If so, can anyone tell me who I can contact to make reservations thank you.

There hasn't been an Arcadia New Year's Rally for several years now, and no one working on a return, as far as I know?

Count me in, if one returns!

Since I lived in south Florida I supported that rally for 15 years and bought tickets even thou I didn't have a bus back then. I would show up for a day and tour all the buses and get ideas. They would take a picture of me standing in my spot and give me a welcome package. Funny I got black water treatment each year, which I gave away. I finally got a bus and started converting when the hosts retired and no one took over the duties.

It was always held around NewYears and I thought most bus nuts would like the Florida sunshine in January.

Hi Richard, you could revive the Arcadia Rally, it's not that hard to do. Even if you didn't want to have a formal rally, you could do a NRG, where you don't collect the money or pay the RV park anything up front, everyone books their own spot, you just get the park to set aside an area for participants to book, lvmci...

Hello,

Thanks but no thanks. Retired and spent 7 days a week for 3 years converting bus.
On 7th month of 9 month maiden voyage/shake down cruise visiting the west of the US.
First time west of Mississippi.
What a country.

Yes, Jack and Paula Conrad, the originators of the Arcadia Rally.

Racing dirt bikes,  kayaking, all those things you are not supposed to do in retirement...

Thank you for answering. Do you know if there are any way to contact them or do you know if there's any plans to do anything?

There are no plans in the works, or it would be on here.

Jack and Paula ran the first 10 or so, and passed it on to Bill and Brenda, they passed it on to William the 3rd, and it stopped the following year.

Getting too late for the logistics involved for this New Year's. It takes a small regiment of volunteers, bookings, food, insurance,  for it to look anything like the old rallies.

It would be a worthy adventure to get a team together to build up to next year.
