Clutch pedal doesn't want to release.

I replaced the clutch pedal assist piston air line. The PO had capped it. Now when I release the clutch pedal it only comes  up about an inch or two and hangs up. I can reach down and pull it up past that point and it works okay unless I go past the low spot. Almost seems that I'm over-centered in a link. The clutch grabs when the pedal is almost to the top. Any ideas?
I haven't gotten into it yet, just looking for a little guidance.

Thanks!

is it air assist over mechanical?  I am not familiar with Mci set up.

I really think the mci guys need in here. Mine is air over hydraulic and is sensitive to air pressure. Eaton 10spd autoshift.

my air assist clutch had a pressure regulator on the firewall. maybe pressure adjusted too high? Make sure there is a return spring back at clutch arm.

confirm every moving joint is both free and well lubricated. The hardest to see and reach, will be the worst condition.

Disconnect linkage as necessary to confirm free movement, both ends of the system.

2 reasons, it all needs some lube, and
if the mechanicals are dragging, nothing else is going to fix that without some other compromise introduced...

Happy coaching!

Thanks. it worked okay before I replaced the air line, just real heavy. I'll check all the pivots and look into the pressure regulator. Might be too high.

auto parts stores only sell greases and oils, not Cortizone.😉
