I just bought an mci 5 b I have the maintenance manual but it only goes to bus #7297 mine is #7350 looking for air diagram . I am having some issue with the air up past 50 psi hoping its the air line check valve as it was making noise and vibrating  to touch I am looking for air diagram to see if my bus has a factory air dryer, if so would it be on the center of the bulkhead in the rear luggage conpartment i cant see in there cause the black tank is in the way as well as metal wall...I dont want to start tearing it out if no air dryer  there or and other valve i may need to get ......thank s guys John

The air dryer is likely near the front axle. Block the bus up and look up in there.

You are correct the manual has some later model air diagrams after bus # 7150 wet tank is near the front axle, so the dry tank is were the check valve that I believe to be  faulty ....duh read boy read ... it was vibrating and making a squealing noise i brought it home to rebuild but just got one from the local truck shop.

If not that check valve maybe the one at the wet tank but I had lots air psi to the dry tank before that valve  .. sticking at  at 50 psi  i once had bus air to to 100 psi I fanned brakes down to get rid air leak in front of bus it went away but this leak was still there and worst after fan down....It never recovered past 50 ps....i is this right cause more psi moving down the system with open more leaks stuck valve etc

I havent jacked the front up yet as I have the rear jacked and blocked wheels removed to check brakes wheel seals and replace right hand leveling valve.. only air leak i found so that is a problam was near the rear coming from the said valve after fan down I dont like going under the bus still new to me its huge awesome

Trying to figure out what some other mech did the old owner whom is not here any more... :-[ Has made getting the bus home a challenge but it is the challenger lol so the only Idiot here is me thank you guys on this site... bcm... online manuals i picked up from them

The skinner valve is shutting the engine down as well
I noted the ground is missing on the solenoid.....so is this right

Even if I used aux air not the bus engine to air up... the solenoid will pop that valve shutting the fuel rack off

until I add power via the master switch with the engine run switch on in the back,,,,,right the bus was low on anti freeze i think it was shutting down causing other mech to remove ground... sure more things to come up ...

My MC-5C had a Bendix AD-9 air dryer on the front bulkhead immediately behind the front axle - like JC said, you've got to get the front end up in the air to access and service it.

Also, inside the curbside engine access door, near the ceiling and towards the rear axle, there's what's officially called a "muffler", but commonly called a "ping tank" with a drain valve on the bottom. Make sure that gets drained frequently. On my coach I plumbed in a "Tee" fitting with a shut-off valve to allow me to fill the chassis with shop air when parked. By plumbing in the fitting here, shop air goes thru the air dryer before the rest of the system, thus keeping moisture out in the process. Very handy.

If you start the engine with no air in the system, then try to shut it off, the engine will continue to run until there's approximately 60psi, at which time the shut-down solenoid will activate - if its wired properly.

I don't remember a "low coolant" sensor on my 5C's cooling system, just the sight glass on the overflow tank up in the blower compartment.
