Those were neat. I got to ride on one in 2006. It was a transfer from a cruise ship in Alaska. Generally nice and comfortable but perhaps its just me but I prefer the engine in the rear not in the center of the first section.

Yikes. I am still wide eyed and wide awake driving my "Mini Me" bus. Still doing that "Watch it start, watch it turn, watch it finish" thing. Even articulated I bet watching this thing "finish" takes long range acuity!

With the engine in the front section, it is considered a 35ft bus pulling a 25fr trailer. It is easier to turn than a 45ft bus with the rear axle being a steer like a fire engine tiller truck. BUT-if you have to get the engine out, you have to cut out a couple of supports, then reweld them back in. Good Luck, TomC

The owner is a nice guy he bought the bus to transport Veterans to functions and rallies free of charge ,he did for 2 years then parked it and bought a 40 ft bus he was into some kind of marketing for vets I replaced a exhaust manifold that on that 8v92 it is a old Holland Cruise Ship tour bus from Alaska

If being at serious about mega RV, I've toyed with taking an 18 wheeler and fixing 50+ of really tall clearance and if bays are added, no way to fill them. Sure you can't have mama bring you a bacon sandwich but once parked the place would be an apartment.

Heavy duty truck towing a camper is a growing thing.

Anyone been jerked around by a big 5'er will appreciate the much smoother ride.

A freight trailer is straight and square...

Add a more sophisticated bus style 4/8 bag air ride to it, there's a ton of fun waiting in that build...

Pro tip, full locking differentials or it is as bad, and worse, than a bus at getting stuck, and must-do, put all the wheels on boards when off the paved surfaces.

Happy coaching!

Saw one in our park at Winnepeg West last week. I believe it was for members of a movie company. We saw several of their rigs in the city, double parked at a location. The one in the campground was maroon. Didn't get a picture as pouring rain and 30 to 50 mpg constant gusts of wind. Beautiful rig.
