prevost headlights????????????????

  is just me or are the headlights in the later 80s and early 90 prevost headlights resemble a ford f 150, can any body verify this, thanks for all the info, this board has helped so much, and lit that fire under my but , when i get down on the conversion, ken ( ontario canada 1984 xl

If you mean you can buy them at any auto parts store ...you're right they're 12V

I have a 91 LeMirage XL and recently replaced the headlights with the lens assembly from a 88 Ford F-150 assembly ordered from JC Whittney at about $135 each side. You will have to disassemble your existing lights and the new lights and then reassemble the existing assembly with new lens assembly but using a battery powered screwdriver takes all of 15 minutes each side. Makes a HUGH difference in seeing. Also something else is you can get the bulb in a xenon which emits several times over lumens and cleaner light than old bulbs.
