MCI D3 - air line radiator fan clutch

Engineering.. gotta love it. On my bus, the air supply line for radiator fan clutch came off the bathroom door closing mechanism.

Before plumbing this supply line to the source, I wondered if the air supply was regulated with the door closer before being plumbed over to the clutch fans.

Does anyone know if the air is regulated? If it is, was the regulator at the bathroom closer?

Fan clutches require 90 to 120 psi to work,air pressure disengages the clutch, the fan is locked in high with no air pressure (default)

This probably deserves another thread, but how is the air regulated? I have a sign near the fans that says something to the effect of how the fan clutches can be damaged if left in test mode. How do I know if it is in test mode (on my '02 MCI D4500), or how does it get into test mode?

You probably have the Linning electric fan clutch if it has a test mode, they use the engine ECM signal not air operated,good clutches but expensive to replace
