Hello All,

Ever since getting our D3 I have been wondering what the procedure is to replace a side window and now I am more interested, since one of them turned up with a crack yesterday morning.  Don't know what happened.

So... is the procedure to unscrew the whole frame and take it out?  Hard to believe that would be it.  I sure hope not.

Or... is there a way to disconnect at the hinge?

I haven't looked at it a lot, it's awkward stance to try to examine something.

Then where would be the best place for me to get my hands on 2 of these.  I have the cracked one and the one on the very front drivers side is untinted on the top 8 inches or so, so would like to put one there that is fully tinted.

Thanks a million for your help.

Keep rollin?

From vague memory when I looked after the hockey team's D3, you open the window to a 45 degree angle or maybe more, then just lift it up and out.

Looks like there are a couple of screws. I got a window from Josh, he might have more. Waiting on better weather to swap it.

Boy that sure would be the ticket.

Inquiring minds want to know.

Thanks

Sorry, I don't know who Josh is and where he is.  Now I am in Santa Fe, NM and will be in West Yellowstone for the summer.  It would be nice if he was somewhere in the neighborhood.

Thanks
