How does this work and not strip the screw head?

 You use an pneumatic impact driver, they have been around for many years..
You lightly hammer the gun while turning the handle,, this keeps the bit solid in the screw head..>>>Dan

I'll second this, one of the best tools I've ever bought.  Just wish I could find one that took 1/4" bits instead of 5/16", the latter is a bit limiting when it comes to smaller screws.

For operation, the key difference here is that the pneumatic action is not rotary, so it cannot strip out the screws - you just apply gentle pressure and the impact hammer bounces the screw around until it moves.
