Hey not a J4500 or even an American airport/car rental/hotel shuttle in terms of comfort but imagine being met at the airport with this?

In the Marine Corps at Quantico, VA we called them "cattle cars"!  They moved the PLC's around in them, for you that know PLC's.

Anyone who spent any amount of time in the military, if you didn't have to walk, it was indeed a treat to be driven regardless of what it was.

Being a USMC Motor Transport officer I couldn't agree more!!

Articulated buses aren't that rare.   In the 1980s the OCTA transit district here in sunny SoCal had a short-lived fleet of articulated SuperBuses, but they were unpopular with passengers and drivers:  https://www.google.com/search?q=OCTA+Superbus&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiIx4WvwO3vAhW3GTQIHdFiC0QQ_AUoAnoECAEQBA&biw=1002&bih=625   I rode in one once, and it was slightly strange not hearing any engine sounds at all, but no different than being in Austrian post buses with their drawbar trailers behind them.

Articulated? Ha. When I was in basic training, they hauled us to the rifle range in semis pulling a cattle trailer with 5 foot sides, no roof. No seats.

Many years ago there was a tractor trailer bus on Catalina Island which conducted tours on the island.  One could barely hear the engine and creaking of the trailer.
