Is the Coachnet roadside assistance worth the extra cost over Good Sam/Camping World Roadcare?

On the surface, both Coachnet and the others are the same cost, but Coachnet requires you join FMCA or Escapees or Pay $145 instead of $100.  I really have no interest in what FMCA offers so Coachnet is much more expensive than the Good Sam.

what is your intended use of this service?

I have towing on my State Farm insurance that will tow me to any suitable repair facility.

Folks are FMCA members and good sam but don't know what they have for roadside coverage.....as they have only been   towed.....no roadside work

You also have to join Good Sam.  FMCA has one benefit that is worth joining FMCA.  It is Medex if you should have a medical emergency 90 miles from home they will arrange to have you and all of your family members get back home and also get your coach home for you.  Coachnet also will send a mechanic to your site for minor repairs and make appointments for you to have your coach worked on.

I've had Coach-Net for three years (and three busses) now, and every year it's paid for itself. Usually in tire service calls, but they also cover all of my other vehicles for the same premium. I've also had two calls for when the kids have locked us out of our car (fool me once, shame on you...) and they covered it, no questions asked. The phone reps are always nice and knowledgeable about bus conversions... and they pick up the phone after just a few rings with a real-live person. No "phone-hold Muzak h*ll." I've never had a tow call (knock on wood), but I get the feeling that they'll go "above and beyond" should the need arise.

The extra insurance and peace of mind that FMCA provides is nice for the little bit of $ every year. Their magazine is really good, too. And never underestimate the power of having a massive group of MH enthusiasts behind you, should you ever need a little bit of coaxing of code officials, NIMBYs, etc. FMCA "goes to bat" all the time to help MH users with onerous local codes, etc. throughout North America and keep their membership aware of these issues.

All told, FMCA/ Coach-Net is an outstanding value, IMHO.

I previously had Camping World Roadcare which is the same basic service as Good Sam.  The towing coverage on my insurance does not cover RVs.

The services I want are towing, jumpstarts, and tires.  I've heard Coachnet is better than the others, but I'm trying to decide if the extra cost of joining FMCA is worth it.

Hey Brian; here is a direct link to FMCA benefits, is $25 per year [after the first year of $35] not worth at least some of them?? ??? ??? ??? ??? :o
