So as not to hijack the other topic on Tire Pressure.

The tire pressure gauge I have had for 25 or so years blew its innards out all over the front lawn.

I am now in need of a new gauge.

At the risk of starting a war (I hope it does not end up like an oil topic)

What does everyone else use?

I believe my old one was a Milton.

This is currently the one I am looking at.

Are there any advantages to a digital?

I like the no battery aspect of a mechanical.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

A guy can certainly go round and round on this one...

I've got a Milton inflation gauge which I like very much. A bit more money than the standard gauge, but I like the convenience.

I've also got an electronic gauge which I got from Tire Minder when I bought the TPMS. It's okay, but to be honest it is more a PITA since you can't store it with batteries in it or it always turns itself on. I have confirmed that the Milton inflation gauge and the electronic one are always spot-on the same as each other.

If I were to get a stand-along gauge, I'd probably go with something like this:

https://www.amazon.com/Milton-951-Extended-Reach-Pressure/dp/B00MXU52XK?ref_=ast_sto_dp

Why? It allows you to see the pressure while keeping the chuck on the valve stem, and it has a button to bleed the pressure. Makes it really easy to fine tune the inflation. Just inflate a few more than needed, and bleed till it's spot on.

Milton is my go-to brand.

I just bought the Merlin tire inflator with dual chuck. Very nice and accurate. From Harbor Freight. Looks like a Milton. Precisely made. Not like some of their cheaper stuff.
Cliff, they even came to the house to verify it's  accuracy!😂

Looks identical to the Milton to me. Wonder if Milton is making them for HF?

More likely, China is making them for both.

It looks like a distinct knock-off of the Milton I have. I doubt that the quality would be exactly the same. I would rather support a US company that has been around since WWII. They even tried to trick people with a similar name, sad. If they are both made in the same plant in China, double sad.

The hose on the Milton states "Made in USA" but I haven't found anything about the rest of it.

I spent the bucks back in the 80's for a Milton tire inflator-gauge. When it finally needed a cartridge, I passed. It was almost as much as the whole gage cost. Till the Merlin, I've used separate units.

I bought a new Milton inflator/gauge this year.  It seems to be accurate. It has a 4 ft hose and a locking quick release chuck, which connects easily to each of the duals in the rear.  I can't say I love inflating tires, but this does make it almost pleasant.
You don't have to believe everything you think.

Thank you everyone for the input.
I have ordered one of each of these.
If I will get another 25 years out of these gauges, at that point I probably won't need another one.

I will let you know how they compare to my old Gauge.
