Need a steering wheel riser

Either a 1" or 2" riser would work fine. My wheel has a 1" riser and it's too close to the turn signal stalk and won't lift far enough to dip the headlights before hitting the wheel. The riser has 3 bolts where it is sandwiched onto the steering wheel. I expect another 1" would be enough but 2" would be for sure.

Dog leg the stalk that way you won't change the driving feel.  Jack

I changed the steering wheel which is what caused the problem to start with. The old one was ratty and the new one was very nice so that part made good sense. Only thing was, the new one doesn't have as much dish.

So I need a riser.

Should not be difficult to make,,( or have made) spin it out of aluminium and drill three holes.>>>Dan

I know, I have one stock 1" one that I can use for a pattern. I just thought if anyone had a spare I'd just as soon buy it since it has that nice black crinkle finish and would match better.

Perhaps a project for the local school machine shop?

Gotta still be good shop teachers out there that want a "real world" project for the kids to "flash the imagination" ?

Happy coaching!

That nice black crinkle finish can be had in a spray can.

Well, I figured it might be worth a shot.

I do have a usable chunk at hand that will need a minimum of machine work. Guess I'll throw that in the lathe. Thanks anyway.
