A few weeks ago I mentioned my health problems....(prostate cancer) well 4 weeks ago i underwent radical prostectomy surgery,  yesterday was my first PSA test afterwards, it showed zero (0) cancer left after surgery, I still have to be tested every 3 months, but I was excited with the news, I know many of you added me to your prayers and I thank you for this!  Excuse me for posting this here, but it does mean the bus work will continue....LOL!   And I really appreciated the Prayers!       Thanks Pat! :)

Great news! I'm happy for you.

Now for the rest of you males out there. When my dad had his done this last Nov. the surgeon came out
and said things went fine but  what really got to me was that 90% of ALL males will get prostrate cancer
if they live long enough.  Don't take chances! Regularly get your PSA tests and and the other icky one.
Of course we will always pray for your health and safety.

Pat, I normally don't open posts that don't have a descriptive title, so I never knew you had challenges. I am very grateful you are on the mend. You are a true master and I look forward to more progress from you.

All the best,

Chuck

Pat,
Our prayers have been with you since we heard. I am sure that with prayer and the will to overcome you can do anything.

For the rest of you, take heed of what Skip has to say below. There's no reason not to have this done and according to the AMA EVERY MALE OVER AGE 50 needs to have it done.

If Katie Couric can do it, you can too!

Now, Pat, get back to work and quit sloughing off!  ;D
