From their ad:
Tire Life® is a premium liquid formula
developed to benefit all companies that
manage commercial fleets. When added to
a tire's air chamber, Tire Life® protects tires
and eliminates wheel/rim loss from scale and
pitting, while improving air retention through
its sealing qualities. Labor costs are greatly
reduced as tire dismounting time is decreased.
Safety is one of the main contributions to
our customers. Tire Life® not only reduces
tire failures, but also aids in the prompt
identification of tire cuts and wheel/rim cracks,
and keeps tires running up to 7.5% cooler than
similar tires without the benefit of our product.
Bags come 48 to the case and are sold by the
case. Gallon Jugs come 6 to the case and are
also sold by the case.
Tire Life® is a specially formulated, light
viscosity fluid that provides exceptional tire
and rim protection when installed in a tire air
chamber in the recommended quantities.
◆ Provides excellent performance in mining,
construction, agricultural, and over the
road tires.
◆ Protects tire inner liner from degrading.
◆ Protects wheels/rims against rust scale
and pitting.
◆ Improves air retention.
◆ Reduces heat build-up in tires.
◆ Decreases labor time for tire mounting/
dismounting.
◆ Safely identifies cracks in rims.
◆ Freeze/thaw stable.

One of its main claimed benefits is that it reduces corrosion and reduces rust. It might not be necessary with aluminum wheels. It sounds to me like yet another product that benefits the seller more than the buyer. Truckers go through tires much quicker than we do, so we need some busnut to try it and report back ten years from now.  ::)

Aluminum rims get corrosion too...

Once the protective coating is rubbed or chipped thru, huge issues keeping the beads from seeping air...

No free lunch, pick yer rim material and protect accordingly...

No clue about this product.

Wonder what the tire and rim manufacturers think of it?

Happy coaching!

Most definitely, but the ad mentions "rust" and does not specifically state that it benefits aluminum wheels, so I am suspicious.

Or you could just give it a few pumps of Berryman's Tire Seal-R and let it go at that.

Great if you're doing 120,000 miles a year. Pretty useless with doing our typical 5-10,000 miles a year. Good Luck, TomC

Gee Tom,
I have managed 2800 miles in the last 3 years so far...and that is high for me these days.
Hard to believe I used to run 100,000 annually. I am slowing down a bit these days though.

I thought they make filters for those tpms units to keep out any debris.
