Should I do anything with fuel after sitting since January?

My bus has been sitting in storage since January.  Do I need to worry about doing anything with the fuel before starting it up?  I suppose it is too late for biocide against algae growth.

The fuel tank was full to the brim when I parked it minus maybe two gallons.  I burned several tanks of fuel last fall so hopefully anything nasty in the tank is gone.  The fuel filters were changed twice last year.

I'm not too worried.  I hope to replace the batteries, turn the key, and have it start.

you should be fine if it was fine when you parked it...and it was fiull like you said.

And yes, I know my bus should be driven more often.  I wasn't expecting the bus would sit that long between starts.

I've been getting my house ready to sell and it has taken twice as long as I planned on.

I had mine parked for several months.  I took the batteries out and fully charged them.  Put them back in and she started on the first revolution and run perfectly.  A moment of true bus nut pride.  I felt like I should hand out cigars or something.   ;D

My 4104 sat from Nov 29 '06 to April 25 '07 without starts except to move it a few feet and the tank was almost full. Just returned from a 6400 mi trip with no problems.

The reason for new batteries is because they are dead.  They wouldn't hold a charge for even three days this winter.  I helped kill off my starting batteries by running them down to zero volts once last summer and below 10 volts several times.  They are probably a good four years anyhow.

I would like to go down from four to two batteries, but Dina did all kinds of crazy wiring stuff between the batteries that makes it easier to replace all four than to figure out the wiriing mess.

Don't suppose this had anything to do with their early demise??

I'm exaggerating a bit, but there are some battery posts with three wires on them.  An hour or two with the wiring diagram and I could probably figure out how to use just two batteries.

Dina is still producing buses in Mexico as far as I know.  Dina bought MCI in 1994.  Dina choose to sell their buses in the USA through MCI since they owned MCI.  MCI was sold to someone else in 1999 and 1999 or 2000 was the last year for Dina in the USA.  The MCI F3500 was also produced by Dina.
