On my main disconnect switch there are two wires -- one is marked with a red band and one is marked with a blue band.  I am getting ready to install the isolator and need to know which wire comes from the alternator and which wire goes to the coach. I hope I don't need to run a new cable from the alternator to the isolator because the 0000 cable I just bought is running about 6 bucks a foot. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Mel. You could take them loose and touch each one to the switch and know pretty fast the one that lights up the coach. You could hook the coach wire only, start the bus and know the other wire is alt if it does not charge on the gauge until you hook it back up. I know nothing about your coach. You may find the alternator is hooked to the positive post on the starter and not the disconnect. You may find one of those wires is coach power and the other is starter.

I think one goes to the A/C panel in the first bay and the other  goes to the motor stud in the engine bay.

The larger cable goes to the engine stud.

The alternator is connected to a separate stud on the side of the rear terminal box  from where it loops over to the motor stud.
