Diamond Shield is a thin covering some manufactures use to protect the paint on RV's.I need to remove the crap from the headlights and front end,I tried to polish the headlights and nothing will work because of the Diamond Shield.Anyone here ever removed it ? it is a clear sheet like a window tint that cracks and looks ugly over time and I want it gone any help ?

Did you try a heat gun? that will normally loosen the glue that holds stickers don't know if it is the same kind of glue.

Get a corner started with a razor blade then use a heat gun.  By the way Cliff you never sent me your new phone number.

I would try to contact the manufacturer or the company that did your conversion. I'm sure they've needed to remove some at one time or another.

The manufacture I did contact, they wanted $1500.00 to remove and reinstall the same crap,I have a guy in Scottsdale coming to replace it with a different product that has a limetime warranty the same material he installs on high end Porsche sports cars sold by Penske here in Scottsdale.BTW the manufacture is sending me a removal kit free of charge,I probably would have let Diamond do it but a trip to New York is not something I care to do right now

I had mine sanded down to the fiberglass and rhino-lined. Then they painted the original colors and graphics back on. Life time warranty against fading and rock chips.

I tried the heat gun and I removed a small amount over a 2 hour try .
Then I used my pressure washer and after 2 days of wasted time I did remove the bottom 1/4 of the crap on the front and gave up .

Spend the money and sit back with a beverage and watch the pros do it

I would not reinstall it as the crap that was put on mine in 2000 had a life time guarantee but I think that guy died with the guarantee
