I filled up at Costco in Downey, Ca for $3.45/gal. Even that isn't that bad when you consider Diesel was $1.65/gal in 2002. Good Luck, TomC

just filled up the wife's suv and only paid  $ 4.34 a us gallon for diesel

     Dawnnoo what's goin on with y'all but I paid $2.58 in S. Carolina on Thursday.  Only 12 gallons to fill my TDI but I figger if I buy from the cheapest guy is all goes to push the competition along.

I bought diesel in Elizabethton tn for 2:58 a gallon on the way home from Blytheville.

I never buy diesel in NC.

    Hi Ned, I try to avoid it.  I live near Durham but since I get 750 - 850 miles per tank, I can often edge off to S. Carolina.  TN is a long way from me.  Virginia used to be noticeably lower than NC but since Flying J got bought out, the price advantage seems to have gone away.

Also, review fuel taxes. Several states have recently jacked it up. There are a couple of sites for this info and also a couple that report where fuel is the cheapest.
