This image shows 185 out of almost 300 print issues of Bus Conversion Magazine.  Now that we are an all-digital magazine, we are liquidating all of our back print issues as we need to clean out our storage locker in SoCal.  We have a complete set of all back issues, in almost new condition for sale.  The retail value is over $1000.  But we will let them all go for only $500 plus shipping fees.

For anyone converting a bus, this is a must-have.  By reading all of these back issues, as I did before I bought my first bus you will gain a wealth of information which will most likely save you over $1000 in mistakes you may make in converting a bus incorrectly.  Call me if you are interested at (714) 614-0373.

Just want to let everyone know that we still have a full set (about 300) copies of BCM available in mint condition.  For only about $1.60 per issue, this is a much better deal than when we were selling them for $5.00 per issue.   We have one of each issue ready to ship to you today.  You will be able to start reading them by the end of this week.

This would make a great Birthday gift for anyone either considering building a bus or in the process of converting a bus.  There is so much knowledge in these magazines that you would be hard pressed to get this much knowledge for this amount of money.

Call now before they are gone.  Once they are gone, we will not be printing any more.

I took a look at some of the back issues that you have online now - noticed that they are online only with no download. Do you have plans to offer them for sale for download? I'd love to read the old issues, but reading online isn't always feasible, and I have no desire to carry around physical copies.

I'd be interested in buying a copy of the whole shebang in digital format if you were to offer that.

Richard,

The reason we are not allowing subscribers to download issues over three months old is that there was a case where a subscriber bought a subscription then paid for and downloaded all back issues from our website.  He then sold them on e-bay in bundles without our permission.  So we had to set up the system to prohibit downloading these issues when we put all back issues online for only a $19/year subscription.  This is how we protect our property as it costs a lot of time and money to track down these people and shut them down.

Also, we only have copies online for all issues from March 2008 to current.  We sent all of the CD's with the PDF's of all of those issues to someone who used to work for the company, he disappeared from the face of the earth after I paid him to do this project.  So if we want to put the remaining issues online, we will have to take time to scan each one and at this point, this is cost prohibitive.

We also currently have several subscribers sharing their username and password and we can see they are logging in from different parts of the country from different computers on the same day after each issue comes out so we are starting to crack down on those.

This business is more of a hobby (I have not paid myself one penny since I took this company over 7 years ago) as there are not as many people converting buses as there once were and there is so much information available for free on the internet now that it is difficult enough to keep this business afloat as it is. So we have to do everything we can to protect our investment.

But we may consider this in the future if there is enough interest and we can find a way to easily prohibit people from sharing or selling the digital copies on the internet.  Let me know if you have any suggestions. Until then, there are still back print issues available that are ready to be shipped out.

Gary I have no idea what kind of cost would be incurred, but when I used to purchase and download codebooks from the NFPA website they had a way to lock the pdf to the computer you used to download the manual, and it was not possible to download on another computer or transfer the pdf to another computer either. Perhaps worth looking into?
Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.

Thanks for the reply - I hadn't given much thought to the problems you outlined.

I'd love to get the whole collection, but there is no way I'd get them in the door without a fight, as we're already at a loss for storage space for what we already own. Even more so when I'd want to take a stack of them on the bus to read while we travel.

Maybe there's a way to put them on a thumb drive which could be digitally secured to prevent the files from being copied form the thumb drive?

I can't believe it!

So far we have had no takers for one complete set of each print back issue of Bus Conversion Magazine. I went thru this set today and every one of these issues is like new.  They have been packaged up for the past 6 years I have owned the business.  This is the last set left.

I just lowered the price to $400 plus shipping costs and you won't find a better complete set of back issues anywhere.  Call me now and we will get these shipped out today.

If are converting your first bus or know someone that is converting a bus, you will find more value in these back issues which will probably save you more than the cost of the magazines at this price.

After you finish your conversion, you will probably be able to sell them for what you paid for them to someone else doing a conversion.

Operators are standing by.  ;D

If Gary's deal is not enough to satisfy you, I have most issues from 1992 to 2009 in binders.

I just tossed out all of my binders as it would be very expensive to ship them.  Binders are nice.
