Anyone know anything about IMECA coaches? I just acquired a 2005 EC 3800, can't find any info on the internet.

I have not heard of that brand, but there is a company called IVECO that makes trucks and buses. Maybe that is one of their model names, or some other company's. Pictures would help.

it is on a spartan chassis but body is made in Argentina by IMECA.
I have found photos of buses but no information. I've seen them on I 10 for years.

Well, that will be a relatively rare bus with less parts availability. Those slick looking side mirrors will be expensive to replace if you snag them on a telephone pole, even if some other maker like Setra uses them. Looks like it has air bags for suspension, what about the engine and transmission?

It's a Cummins ISC 350hp, allison ATD00960, HWH computerized leveling system, Wyrco/kuboto diesel 20KW generator,  etc
Runs good drives good, the hydraulic jacks will lift it off the ground!

It's never been a bus, it was ordered as a shell & built as a special purpose vehicle. MVD couldn't what to call it, finally decided it was a van. I'm working on what to do with the wrap as a cancer survivor the pink ribbon is cool.

Sounds like it is well equipped. As long as there are no mechanical components that are exotic, your only problem will be body parts. You have a good generator of generous size, it can power any A/C situations that you have.

I'd love to have a set of those hydraulic jacks. Of all the things my S&S had I'll probably miss those the most. I may just have to build a set. I'm sure I can improve on my last design and it was pretty good. Second hand hydraulics are dirt cheap compared to HWI but used parts often leak down. As always, the budget rules.

Those were sold months ago, they came from a RV salvage yard (Colow, in St. Louis).
