The bellows on the right hand exhaust pipe is leaking on my 6V92. It is part # 5101394. I have found a few for sale ranging from $600 to $1300. Where can I buy one at a reasonable price? Anybody have a good used one?

I know I can buy the components and build it but I'm not up for doing that right now (health problems) and there isn't a good shop around here that can do it. I need the bus to transport me to appointments.

There is a complete 6V92 Turbo pipe for sale on eBay for $250, item #223209509938. The catch is, it is for pick-up only in Sherman, Texas.

Tom, Sherman TX is about an hour away from me.  If you run out of options and need to go with that one, I could pick it up for you, as long as a UPS store could pack and ship it (at your cost).  I'm familiar with 71 series engines, not so much with 92's and turbos.  Will the part fit in the trunk of a normal sedan?

I think I'm in town this week, don't know about next week, in town Thanksgiving week.  Nine seven two, four six six, four six one one.

Gary, Thanks for the number. I did have a guy call me back from Miami with a used one at a decent price. I'm going to keep the number in case I need something else.

Chessie,I saw that but don't want to have to make one up right now.

Walter, mine is a differnet configuration

Clifford, yes it is the same pipe. I sold that bus to a guy in Indianna. Now I have the same issue with the new bus. I guess it is a known problem. I know you didn't have any more of them. I was just hoping someone knew where they could be bought for less than $600!

Arthur, thanks for the offer. You are very kind.

Thanks to everyone for your help. I did find a used but in excellent condition (they say) at Diesel Pro Power in Miami for $291.63 + $32.12 shipping. I can send it back if it's not as described.

I wonder if one of these would work? They are available in different sizes.

We repair this pipe from time to time with these except we use the 6" long bellows. Funny thing is in this application it is actually used for what it was intended for in the first place ... as a thermal expansion joint.
We do the repair for customers but we need to unit in our shop so we can fit it up and tack before welding. They come up few and far between so we have no jig set up and fitment is pretty precise. We have also welded on expanded ends then supplied good lap joint clamps as an alternative.
