Brent,

2 questions.

Where in So Cal are you located?
What is your coaches serial number? I am keeping a historical database on most GM buses.

3751-073 a 1947 coach originally purchased by Richmond Greyhound Lines as fleet number 2102.

Is yours the one in Ontario off I-10 & Grove?
I drive school bus in Fontana.

Another California contact is Ted at Coach Maintenance. He is our west coast Guru.
He works late hours, Don't call him before noon.

Thanks!  Interesting history.

The bus is currently en route to California, so it's not the one in Ontario.

I'll reach out to Ted before too long to say "hi".

Ted just got out of the Hospital here in Sacramento area and the VA. He had some Heart issues.

Siberyd,

I have two converted silversides to add to your registry.  PD3751 221 and PD3751 1248 both live in Marrero, La.  Coach 221 travels regularly and coach 1248 is a running, driving parts bus.  Any info you may have on them would be greatly appreciated.

                                                                   Thanks, Patrick

Patrick,

PD 3751-221 a 1947 coach originally purchased by Pacific Greyhound Lines of San Francisco as fleet number 518.
San Francisco had the reputation for having the best maintenance teams.

PD 3751-1248 a 1948 coach originally purchased by Capitol Greyhound Lines of Cincinnati,  Ohio with a fleet number of B9204.

Greyhound keeps their coaches 10 years and sells them off to the next owner after the Labor Day rush.

Thanks for the info Siberyd.  San Francisco, huh?  Now I know why the bus always pulls hard to the left.

Brent,

I know of a rear set of seats for your coach. A fellow 3751 owner in Kent, OH . His price is $500.00 plus shipping.

Brent he also has trim. Please send me an
email with your phone number. And I will have him call you. He purchased a parts bus
and may have other goodies your coach needs.

We are looking for parts for our bus project. Can you have the guy in Ohio call us at 43.522.6102?

We just posted a list on the Monkey page Scott runs.   We need a row of seats and over head bins and some trim for the front of the bus and all four clearance lights. complete units if possible.

We are also looking for some windows. So, any help will be great. It is for a museum build that we expect to complete by this summer some time.
thanks
