I'm hoping to get my cruise working too.

I'm pretty sure all the smarts are up front. All it does is automatically move the throttle cable. If the right foot pedal works, your good to go on the back end.

I noticed the Piston you show there seems to adjust fast idle . It pushes put and limits the throttle when engaged.

Take all of this with a grain of salt.

Kings are not that expensive any longer, when I do Jakes I can buy the King with the fast idle cheaper than I can buy a Jake fast idle buffer switch that way the person has cruise too and with less air valves to deal with

So I got my new switches in and wired up my switch to the existing wires that are just hanging under the switch panel.

Took it out, tried to turn it on, and nothing. So I got back to the house and opened the front junction box, tested for continuity between the on/off switch and the power stud 14, nothing. So then i found the inline fuse (3A) and found that it was blown but someone took 2 strands out of a stranded wire to bypass it. So I cleaned the fuse terminals and I now have continuity. So I shall try again another day(and get a new real fuse)

Factory cruise control as far as I know. Wiring matches my schematic
