Honda CR-V

Have enjoyed flat towing an '04 and now a '10.
Just heard that the newer Honda CR-Vs are not towable flat.
Can anyone tell me the last year they were OK for towing on the flat?

I believe 2013 was the last year for flat down towing. I have a 2012.

The list get's smaller every year.Guess I'll go with the old stand by ,Jeep GC .A little heavy and not very well made but it least I can tow it with out speed limitation or other stupid restrictions.

We  went to a Grand Cherokee after our Cabrio was totaled by a pickup sandwich. Nice little black convertible, boo-hoo.
GC is a lot easier to get in and out of. That becomes a situation that does demand attention as the birthdays accumulate. Not impressed by the mileage at 22-23 in town. But it is easy to drive and the Sirius radio is builtin.

22 OR 23 mph sounds like heaven to me .Try 12 to 15 with my 2005 .Yes ,it is a Hemi with a 140 mph speedo .That thing will fly and tows like a dream .Guess you can see why it only has 58m miles on it huh?? BY the way ,radios were a weak point on the 2005 and some other models.

10-4 on the Jeep GC's 5.7 L mpg. We just bought an 09 with the Hemi. Congested city driving with A/C we get 15 mpg but have been able to get 24+ OTR with the MDS/VVT. Its fast & strong enough to goose the bus if need be. Also a ton lighter than the Sierra full size we totaled (& towed). Looking forward to towing it (the GC), haven't yet...
