Dear experts,

Any suggestion on a company that sells a conversion kit for wipers.
I would like to change from air to electric.

Does anyone know a company I can contact?

Thanks

For some reason I couldn't find a link to Autex but what Gary said.  I bought my conversion from International Bus but they just resold an Autex unit and the minute I needed support they dumped me off to Autex direct.  They were great to deal with but I wouldn't darken IBP's doors again.

I believe that is what is in Huggy.  Been a few years.

Only problem i have ever have is sometimes they get out of sync.
Especially when running on delay,  funny when one wiper works the a few seconds later the other does.
Has to do with 2 motors and one controller.
They have been on her for over 10 years.

By the way most dealers sell stuff but do not have much tech.knowledge that goes back to the manufacturers.

they usually have a few tec. support people but getting to them is sometimes hard.

My Autex wipers have 2 controllers, one for each and intermittant delay also. They are not cheap 950.00 without the blades or arms. That is the motors switches and wiring. It is all set up and you just pull out your old ones and put the electric ones in the same place. Plug the wires into eachother and hook up two wires. One to ground anywhere there is metal and a screw and the other to a 12 volt stud or supply. I put in an inline 3 amp fuse to be safe. done

The arms are 149.00 each so just used my old ones which wee is good shape.

Thanks again for all the input.
I don't know if this is the correct forum for this or this might be a "No shXX Sherlock" moment but if anyone opens the front of the bus for the wipers - the chalk and gasket were solid rock and broke off. This caused a major water leak. I would advise routinely putting a silicone caulk over these joints that rain water runs over.

I used the flexible stick on 1 inch thick rubber door insulation. Stick it around the plates and put the end at the bottom. It seals and you can take it off any time you need to and put it back on without caulking. :)
