There is an old Greyhound bus in McAllen that I might be interested in. If anyone is in this area and could take some pics for me and check it out, I would be happy to pay you for your time. The bus is at 5 Mile Line & Minnesota in McAllen.

Also, if someone could repost this to the BNO board for me it would be much appreciated. I can't seem to complete my registration on BNO.

Done. Thursday 1400 hrs. Richard

Peace be the journey,
Jeremy

I am in La Feria, but can go look it over for you.  Give me a call at 956 797 3282 with details.

I actually live in the McAllen area and can back Don up if need be. I am about 3-4 miles from the area you mentioned. I will have to give in and admit that Don probably has way more descretionary time on his hands than I do though. You probably couldn't ask for a better eye than Don to look at a bus for you (but if it were an Eagle I have noticed he is a little wobbly). Let me know if you need a backup plan. - Greg

Wow Greg, I had not realized you were back in town!  I just gotta come see the end result of your conversion sometime!

Thanks Don for the come back, and it sure is good to see you posting again.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body. But rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, a good Reisling in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming:  WOO HOO, what a ride

Thanks a lot Don and Greg. I am still trying to get ahold of the owner to see when it would be good for someone to look at. Don, will get in touch with you as soon as I talk to the owner.

Thanks guys,
Jeremy

I wanted to thank everyone for the offers to help get a set of eyes on this bus. I think I am going to pass at even looking at this now, the owner basically stopped returning my calls/emails as soon as I mentioned setting up a time to come look at it. C'est la vie, this isn't the one for me. :)

Thanks,
Jeremy
