Hey everyone just putting this out there so anyone close to any of these guys might be able to help either in person or with suggestions of who what where!

Right now we have 3 (that I know of, and maybe more) different buses broke down. 2 are in route to Evansville, IN for the rally at the newly restored Greyhound Station.
First is Scott & Heather in their MCI in NC with an unknown none starting issue.
Second (Uncle) Ned in his 4104 broke down in Bowling Green/Cave City, KY with an air compressor down.
Third is Dan Cerrato in his 4104 in Perry, GA with a broken fan.

Who knows if anyone else is down, but please if you can think of or do ANYTHING to help one of these guys please pass on ANY info to any of them direct or to me 2 seven 0 - seven 0 five - 1 one 3 nine

OK UPDATE! Scott and Dan got going!

But poor Ned, Wilma & Sam are still broke down in KY!

Just talked to Ned a few minutes ago and the compressor that was supposed to be there first thing yesterday AM just got there this afternoon and shortly thereafter they discovered IT'S THE WRONG ONE!

So question is does anyone have a compressor for a left hand rotation 6V92 or a good line on where to get one?

Also can anyone tell us IF there is a difference in right hand or left hand compressors?

Last but not least will a compressor from an 8V71 or 8V92 interchange with a 6V92?

Don't ask me what is different about the wrong one they received as Ned didn't know when I asked him, he only knew they told him "It was the wrong one!"

They are the same if the compressor has the DD flange only the tilt is different for different engines lol and I forgot what tilt GM buses have

LOL!
I forgot about the "tilt"!

I attempted to call you for advice, but with your phone dilemma I wasn't able to reach you.

And FWIW Ned has things UNDER CONTROL ONCE AGAIN!
He called Gene Russell and said "send these guys what ever parts they will need to fix it"
And he is packing up the pick up truck to take momma home! (will go back after the bus once it is done!)

Good!!  Best wishes, Ned, keep on going until you get it all right.
