Steering box options?

The MC8 is going to need a steering box pretty soon; 
Three options:
1) replace with OEM,
2) upgrade to Ross integral,
3) upgrade to Sheppard.

Most seem the Sheppard performs better than the Ross integral and OEM boxes. Luke quoted about $1k for a reman OEM. How much difference is there in cost and labor for the other options?

I replaced the original sheppard gear with an upgraded reman after the core and shipping was around $1,100 well worth it.>>>> John.
