Does anyone know if you can take the dash out of something like a MCI 102C3 and swap it into a MCI 9/12?

I found someone parting out a 102C3 and the dash to me looks much better than the old looking unit on my MC-12. I know the electrical is going to take some work but would it physically bolt in?

Should be a fairly easy swap, the 102C is 96 inches wide in the drivers area the same as the MCI 9/12

I hate my 102C3 dash. It's junky
Plastic that breaks every time I touch it. I'll be tossing my dash panels eventually and building a custom panel out of wood or something prettier and more robust.

I thought about doing that on the DL then I starting looking at all the switch holes and said naw and bought all new panels and switches from Sam at a premium now to install the babies

Would love to, but it's a 3-hour drive one way.

Yeah, that was kind of my fear, the 9 dash is just so dated looking and ugly.

I put a finished oak skin over the original dash and routered out the holes as a quick fix and was going to redo the dash in solid wood but never got around to it .
