Anybody who has built their own dash, what are you using for indicator lamps?  Mine desperately need to be replaced but I haven't had any luck finding anything so far.

The last thing I would ever want to do is hurt you.
Its the last thing but its still on the list.

I used LED bulbs mounted in a chrome fixture, amber for turn and blue for brights, from either Radio Shack or Auto Zone, I can't remember, I'm sure NAPA would carry them also, have them check their book. All I had to do was drill a hole and mount the nut on the back side.
When you buy them get the ones that have the fogged out lens other wise it will be too bright at night especially the bright light indicator because it is on longer than the turn signals.

We used LEDs. I bought the LEDs and resistors from DigiKey. We use green for turn signals, red for all others except high beam with is blue. "Immediate action neccessary" warning lights (low air, low oil, and hot engine) are flashing red LEDs. We also have audible warnings on those 3.  For 2 position switches such as the defroster blower we used bi-color LEDs (green for low spped and red for high speed). Just "our way", YMMV  Jack

On my 4103 (12v), I used a combination of LED's I took out of old computer cases, and brighter LED's I bought from Radio $hack.
I put 330Ω resistors in to let the LED's do the same as the road crews: Let 'em Work, Let 'em Live"

To make them appear brighter or dimmer, replace the 330Ω resistor with  a slightly different value. This is for 12V only!!!

Now I have to figure out what I'm going to use for dash lights!  :-\
