I finally got the interior blower/surge cover off. The hoses are good...save this one. It broke off in my hand. It goes from the tank to the manual relief valve. The other side of the valve has a short hose that comes out just behind the radiator screen. Can I take this off...seeing as when it broke, no coolant leak? Yes, the bus has coolant.
There is another pressure relief drain that goes from the front of the tank out the bottom of the bus on the left side. Now I know why I have a rust spot to fix. Advise appreciated!

The coolant is full, if you get a dribble out of that, when you open the valve...

If you plan to have other methods to check coolant level, then cap that off properly, a brass plug in where the valve unscrews, etc.

That's what Luke said as well. I have a clear sight glass... I don't need it (the hose literally crumbled), so little brass caps it shall be.
Thanks!
