Aqua hot

thinking of dumping my old primus heating and hot water tank and installing the aqua hot system. Can't find out much on line as far as prices, any one here using one? what do you think of them and about what would it cost to buy one?

I have an Aquahot. Love it. Mine was a limited production model that ended up on surpluss. I had to do some replumbing and add a couple pumps, but it has been well worth it.

Try searching RV surplus places to see if any are available. There's a place in Oregon that gets them in from time to time. Also check RV salvage places for one from a wrecked unit.

Hyrra Hot also makes a smaller 3 zone unit that is a little less then Craig told you. I think the 450-D.

Check out Northwest RV supply in Eugene Oregon, he has some surplus units or did the last time I was there, got mine there for about $650.00.

If you only need the deisel fired boiler, Check with Nimco, that have used ProHeat 45,000 BTU units. Jack

How did you get that kind of price on a Hydro Hot? Northwest RV quoted me something over $2,000 when I called them last summer.

Being diesel fired was one of the things I liked about the aqua hot. The primus is propane. Would like to find one (aqua hot) outa of a salvaged rv for a good price or maybe replace the propane fired boiler with A diesel boiler and use my primus plumbing, pump ang radtators. Would take allot of tinkering and adapting and making sure the temp of the water coming out of the new boiler was right. then I could toss about half of the raidators and have plenty of heat for this part of the world.
What are my options for a coach that rarely leaves warm weather? would be open to sugestions of other type heating systems. something simpel to install and kinda cheap would be good. We never get to far north of sweater weather.

It has quit working twice that I know of, first time the orfice in the buner was pluged. This time we are not sure why, still looking. This is what makes propane fired stuff hard to deal with sometimes. Also can't get parts for it any more.
nice heater just obsolete and hard to keep working.
