While the PD4501 is a unique bus, it is probably one of the hardest to convert with it's two levels and sunken isle. Plus with only 1001 made, parts are just about non existing.
MCI 102C3 is a much better choice. 40ft, 102" wide, huge windows, flat floor 6'10" headroom, parts are still being made.

I completely agree with Tom C comments. As I said in my earlier post, most surviving 4501s are unfinished conversion projects, for the very reasons' Tom stated.
