It is getting too hard for me to pump the gun.  Anyone recommend a good pneumatic or electric powered gun to grease all the fittings on my Eagle?  I tried a Harbor Freight gun once, but it was useless, so I returned it.  I want something that will really work and take some of the effort out of lubing my chassis parts.  I think it would be money well spent.

Just did a Google search and Lincoln gets good reviews.  Anyone agree?

Yes. The Lincoln is the way to go. I never had any issues with it, and it's super easy to use.

I use the Harbor Freight pneumatic grease gun and it works great.  You just have to remember to put a few drops of air tool oil in the connector before you use it or it will stop working.  Also, if you have plugged up components the grease is not going to go in until you clean out the hardened grease.  I have had to resort to an acetylene torch many times to break down the grease but only use the torch with the grease fitting off or that little round ball at the end of the zerk fitting will shoot out like a bullet.  I know-- I lost a piece of my ear doing it wrong.xx

I personally prefer the Milwaukee battery operated, But the Lincoln is good too, both are pretty pricey

I too ,use the Harbor tool " new matic" grease gun! Have had it for years with no problems.The deal is though these manufacturers some times change suppliers so a gun I bought may not be the same gun you would get.

I also have one of the HF air ones. It's never given me any problems, but squirting grease anywhere is messy business haha. >:(

I just bought the pneumatic one from Harbor Freight but haven't tried it yet. So thanks for the info and tips.

"Fitting" meaning the zerk fitting?

No, its not the zerk that is usually plugged up, it is the "component" that is plugged up, i.e. the king pin housing, the tie rod ends, or anything that uses a shaft with a housing and zerk fittings, etc.  U-joints usually don't plug up, but it sometimes takes a thin adaptor held tight against the zerk to get grease in the u-joint.  I could go on about about worn out zerk fittings and worn out grease gun couplers but this is getting old already.

   HI all;

        I use a commercial lube place at most truck stops.  They have the
        power and know-how to get most common zerk fittings.  For the
        rest, I use a HF air grease gun.

I'm for the Lincoln too. Would highly recommend. I have one at work that has been in use servicing the fleet for 6 years +. No issues. Replaced the batteries 1 year ago. Put a 30" hose on it so that I can reach into tight places without having to have the unit close. Much easier to maneuver with under units than dragging a high pressure grease hose around from a traditional lubester  or dragging an air hose with a self contained pneumatic unit.  :)
