Just starting to fathom what you gents are talking about.
Excused me for being slow to catch on.
No ignore button here... I especially enjoy communicating with everyone.
The more knowledge one holds the more complex a conversation can get.
I respect the knowledge & appreciate being in a circle of conversation that can happen on these boards

Clifford, you have four ignores.  I have five.  My assumption is that mine are a remnant of when I was more active in the Off Topic section.  Things used to get very contentious over there.  My guess is that some of those people, like yours, are not around anymore.  BCO's posts are often sort of off topic and those tend to attract more animosity than mechanical opinions.  Although I do understand that some people are willing to go to war over things like oil, tires, etc, I do not think that most really get angry about it.  Since I see the ignore feature as something some may need to vent anger, it allows them to sort of save face and continue participating without feeling totally powerless.  Yes, it is juvenile, but we all have our regressive days.

Anyway, it would be interesting to know who your ignorees are.  That way you could openly talk about their history of pedophilia without upsetting them.  Of course, the incidents must have occurred in a bus to remain on topic.
You don't have to believe everything you think.

I wondered if I should ignore someone once but I never got around to it.  And that's OK.

Yes, good info and I like feeling that I am getting to know people once you read many of their posts and figure out how their brains work.  I've gained a lot of helpful knowledge.

So here we are, sitting in the kitchen at the table, going over the slides we want to use at the Funeral Home and out of the clear blue, she sez:  "You never pay any attention to anything that I say.  You ignore me all the time."  Or at least, that is what I think she said?

Stuff happens.

Your observation above is spot on.  I don't have a lot of technical advice to offer (Ask my friends, they will testify) and I don't know a whole lot about buses in general (Again, preaching to the choir, ask Clifford).  All I have is this, an over-active imagination, my laptop and a gift for story telling.

Often I will attempt to speak the truth, and will embellish it a little (in order to clarify) here and there along the way.  Any subject in the world is okay and as far as I know, there are no limits to my excess.

In the beginning I did put up some technical stuff and was eaten alive by all the so-called experts who lurk in the shadows of the board.  But being a quick study, I soon learned, stick with what works and leave the techno-crap to the Gas Bags who seem to think they know it all.

There is no reason that coming to this board or any other board should be depressing, boring or mundane.  As you have pointed out over and over in Off Topic ... We all have enuff on our plate to contend with anyway.

As this is the only verifiable contribution I have to make, I am gonna keep running it up the flagpole, and occasionally find someone who will stop and salute it.

I take what happiness in life I can ... when I can find it.  If it is possible to help someone else along the way by sharing it freely without reservation, then so be it.   This as most folks would agree, is a good thing.

Appreciate your comments, thanks.

I believe Lin hit it on the head. We did get some heated argument going in off topic years ago eh Lin?
Heck I got 6 ignores too and have for awhile now?

I remember people who used the old Tapa-Talk didn't like off topic because it didn't divide it from the regular topics. so they would come in and read political stuff they didn't want to see on the Bus board. So they hit ignore and then left.

It was Probably Gary Hatt started all of that eh Clifford  ;) or Don and John 316, LOL ( that should start something,,..... ;D ::)
