Where to get air beam plates?

My rear air beam finally developed a significant leak. No way to get a welder to it, and frankly, it was leaking 15 years ago when I tore it apart and I had hell at that time welding it up.

Who has plated their air bags on an MCI?
Where did you buy the plates?
How much should I expect them to cost me?
Did they come with longer saddle bolts?

Going to need 4 for the rear.

Debating if I should do the fronts, too, but will probably wait on those.

Check with Mohawk bus parts. Their online catalog wants parts numbers, so I would call them for what you want. They were very helpful when I needed assistance on my DD3 parts order.

Craig,if Derrick Thomas parts his MCI out it has all new plates and rolling lobe bags he just installed

Side note, my MCI 9 I sold had the bags plated, but they still had the convolute style bags (double bellows) and it rode stiff. If you are plating, then without a doubt replace your bags with rolling lobe bags.

Cliff, is that the one at your place that the transport company totaled?

Let him know I'm interested if he goes that route soon.

No that one belongs to John Hafey.
I'm not positive but I think Derek's was going to be the donor for the engine!

Craig, Derrick is "thomasinnv" on here. Nice guy from what I've read here. Derrick, what model of MCI are you parting out?
