That's good, I couldn't tell or see any markings all I know the bus was a 1994. When would be a good time to send it down to you? We have some short trips up until the end of October then were done till spring.

Best to do it in the Bus.  Come on down to our SE Busnut rally the end of Oct.

There's no way I can make that :( No chance your going to be at Kyle's rally? I could possibly make that. I would like to do it in person because I have a few other little quirks I can't figure out. Jason

Jack,

What can you do the ECM's?  Are you updating the software?  do you have any good leads on rebuilt units?

Lol. Doesn't bother me :) I've done my share lol! Cliff, the whole "early" DDEC thing confuses me. If I have the latest revision (154) of DDEC II software in my ECM I assume I'm good to go?

Has anybody had any luck with any vendors to do work on DDEC units?  I have bought several through our local DD dealer, but I'm SURE there is SOMEBODY out there that can work on them other then the dealer??

Most of the places I have found online look shady, when you google their phone number it is a cell, and when you check out their shipping address it is a house, or a "u ship" place.

If anybody has had good luck dealing with anybody I sure would like to know.

Adam

Adam not to take away from Jack or anything but I also know a guy over in Tampa that is a computer whiz on buses and big trucks.
He rebuilds ecms and such, has the stuff to reprogram them and can do all sorts of stuff to them.
He used to work for MCI, ABC, Setra, and a charter outfit in Orlando before opening his own business specializing in computers and electrical system diagnostics & repairs on buses and big trucks.
He works out of his home/truck and has several shops that he does stuff for that let him use space if he needs it!
Yes his phone is a cell# (or was last I talked to him)
But he's DAMN good and has ALWAYS treated me right.

His name is Said pronounced Sah-eed.
I don't have his # with me, but if you need it send me a pm and I'll get it for you.
BTW I have been to All Around Charters before!

The DDEC 11 changed about midway of production when GM went to Motorola the 154 was a version of software
To make a long story short the early DDEC 11 you change to a mechanical because the firing order was the same. The later DDEC 11 Detroit changed the firing order on with different cams.
Early 2 stroke DDEC II engines are a like the old DDEC I you are stuck with what you have while the later can be upgraded to the DDEC IV with only programing.
If you don't buy the SliverLeaf I have a Pro/Driver I will give you but you will need cables it does the same thing just not as fancy and smaller made by Detroit, same deal some 11's it will work on some it won't.LOL
I am still complaining about the price of the MS tablet Martin told me to buy he needs to make the Silver Leaf run on all tablets

You can get refurbished 10" Dell Venue tablets with Windows 10 for under $150.  They should run Silverleaf VMS PC just fine I think.  I thought Martin has said in the past that VMC PC is a breakeven project for Silverleaf so would he ever port it to Android or IOS?

I had plans to get a Dell Venue for my Silverleaf until I realized a mount would cost almost as much as the tablet.

Martin makes enough off his Glass Dash to offset the expense  ;D he is like his dad that owned Safari and Beaver when comes to some things

The glass dash was $10,000 at one time. Now it's $5,000.
