Buying a bus today: any input/advice?

While 11R-24.5's are not real popular, the tire manufacturers are going to continue to make them since they are popular with flat bed and heavy haul truckers. You can't get a taller, slower turning tire than the 11R-24.5 rated to go 75mph.
12R-22.5's are just not real popular at truck stops or tire shops.

My DL had FS400 315's on it when i bought it and i like them. Nice ride and a little wider tire than the 12r

To get the full benefit of the 315/80/22.5 they require a 9 inch wide wheel,doing research before buying the Alcoa wheels and new 315/80 I found Alcoa wanted the 315's on a 9 inch wide wheel so I bought 9 inch Alcoa's fwiw it is interesting why they want the 315's on 9 in wide rims if you read about it
