Jim read above, it was not just me. Again I was only saying what I was doing not suggesting anyone else do anything. Then others start saying what do I do about this or that. Heck even the old owners don't go there anymore. I am glad he is keeping it going the way he has but for me I read to much of these boards as it is and had to cut back somewhere eh!...
Sorry if he was Offended by my comments ( they weren't bad comments I was just wondering what was happening with it? and said I was done)  and I am sorry he had health problems and life happens as he said but come on he put up how he was going to change the board and wait for new things and yes asked for any help but I am not the only one that didn't reply.

So I didn't ask anyone to stop going there just asked what was going on with it and stating what I would be doing. Then I came to BCM which I always do every day and someone else had asked about it. And many have asked or left over time. Kind of a warning shot over the bow I would think. I also was kind of doing it so maybe some of the lurker's would go check it out and maybe it could somehow be saved but I guess that didn't happen.
I would still hope that some would go help him out over there and maybe you could make a good board out of it for MCI guys. Still a lot of lurkers!... WA, WA, WA ;D

Jim Eh.

Did not mean to point a finger, just inform you. When I have had a real wonderful day at work (yeah, right) I like coming on these boards and "travel" both in others experiences and their humor. It's been a life saver some days so I hope none of these boards ever go away. BTW Dave, has Cali melted yet?  :o

LOL Jim Ya thats it cute old man works cheap or is cheap I can't remember where am I Ummmm? ::)

My Buddy on the Ranch is retiring next year and we are cleaning out the Barn 60 X 40 feetx 16 feet. We had our own little Home Depot complete with the orange racks. We had a Plumbing, electrical, paint , tile, miscel, wood hard and soft, drywall and appliances sections. upper section was all the family stuff they stored for years and never came back to get it or didn't want it so they left it. I have sold Tractors on trailer, chop saws, power tools, Bat houses, boxes of sprinkler stuff, "big barrel Janice Wizbang chicken plucker" ( $400.00 yep look that one up on Google and they really work)and the list goes on. Just another thing i do here beside fixing everything that is broken or fails, collecting eggs planting trees and keeping a big pond going, Taking care of the big garden. Just finished building and remodeling the master Bath and bedroom at the main house and putting in a steam room. I originally went on the road to retire, LOL.

Hmmmpf, typical retiree. "Busier now than when I was working, didn't know where I found the time, ...."
Glad I took the freedom 75 route. At least I get a chance to relax.  ;)
Too bad I didn't see your add on the chicken plucker tho. 5 minutes and I'm still laughing. You should have kept it, made a slideout tray for it in the bus and gone mobile!

Jim I sold it to a 80 year old Granny. Nice gal but she had Arthritis in her hands and had a small chicken ranch also but just for herself  anymore and grand-kids for eating chicken fryers she raised. She eats chicken and fish. Has a big pond like we have and goes out catches fish for dinner every so often ( big ol catfish in there she said) and will do 2 chickens a week and Roosters she gets at an auction down the street. Her hands just can't do it anymore. So I showed her how to use it and she was so excited it was so easy. I took 100.00 off and told her it was the senior discount,  ;D LOL

I am with you on the retirement thing Jim. I don't get a paycheck anymore just 20% of anything I sell for them. I keep our Bus right here behind our house (park model (62 x 12.6)I built a big 50 x 11 foot deck on the side with a metal roof, saves the cost of having to store the Bus somewhere. And I can work on it anytime I need to but it is on gravel in the sun.  ;D

Paul seemed to have a lot of ideas and energy to transform the site.  I was glad to hand over the keys.  I mostly use this site anyway and was only maintaining that one as a help to those who used the forum.  We actually had a steady flow of new users, but the new ones would sign up, make a few posts, then migrate away.  It seems redundant to have a site for MCI when this site covers everything we need.
As I said, I turned over the keys to Paul, he started working and making some progress, then vanished.

My apologies to those who got left behind.  I would have continued to maintain the site if I could have dreamed that the new owner would let it die.

A few years back, when this site/forum was faltering I was ready to bring it back to life, but fortunately that never needed to happen.  I appreciate all the input on this site, and those who maintain the work.
