Marcopolo has been building bus bodies for years but to my understanding they only build the body and supply it to the "BUS" builder who mates it to their chassis or the chassis of their choice and finishes the final touches before selling to the end user!

Dina's had the Marcopolo bodies as well!

Pretty sure the body builder buys-in the chassis and builds on top of it, rather than the other way around (ie. body being supplied to the chassis builder, and the chassis-builder completing the finished bus). That's how it's done here at least.

A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.

M/B closed their plant in Mexico that bus is a MarcoPolo joint venture with M/B who could guess who finished the bus

All I know is they built the bodies for Dina and DINA then finished and sold the buses!
And I was told they did the same with the Izar's too.

But how would I know I only owned one DINA. (and worked on many more)

The Tata transit buses made in India uses the Marcopolo bodies also, years ago I toured the MarcoPolo plant in Argentina they were building buses for some European country then.
I read some place where they owned a plant in South Africa now bringing the total to 11 world wide I think they build the NeoBus too. I do know they can build some junk the Irizar and the Comil are good examples that I know of
