I am looking for in a tech harness extension for my touchpad. My touchpad was located down by my right knee and I'd like to move it to the left-hand armrest is there a source for these?

Good thing to do moving the touch pad.  Took me 4 years but just got around to doing it.   The cruse control switches are the ones at the front of side panel.

How long of leg are you, blue_goose?

That shifter looks like it would get into my gangling knee/leg dynamic clearance while I squirm around on a long drive, or smack it climbing in/out of the chair...?

In a perfect world, the shift pad is where your hand falls, so there is no reaching or other upper body movement required to grab another gear.

happy coaching!

Will not hit my knee, but you do have to lean forward just a little to reach it.  Much better than not being able to see it at all and also rubbing the seat.  Most all the buses that I drive you have to lean forward to reach the shifter.
Jack

I just looked back at the picture and I had the seat all the way forward.  That makes it look like your knee would hit it.

Mine isn't an atec pad, it is a eco 2 for world transmission.  Don't think sun will bother the shift pads.  All Gillig buses have the pad mounted on the left side of the dash where all the sun can hit it.  If anyone needs a Atec pad I have one for sale.  That is what was in the bus.
