Finally heading home for the summer in our bus

After a year and a half touring Texas, we are finally driving our bus back home to Michigan. We will work on converting the new boss over the summer. Wish us the best as we drive through the nasty weather tomorrow and Wednesday we might be right in the crosshairs in St. Louis tomorrow afternoon yikes! If you see a big white bus that looks like a form of prison bus wave and yell
Making a quick stop in Dallas at M CI right now to get the drivers windshield replaced and then we are on the road!

Scott and family, have a safe drive north. Please document your new bus build like you did your last if you are able. I loved viewing the pictures of it getting built by you, your family, and friends.

MCI in Dallas didn't have the fencing gasket for the windshield in stock so we left without new glass

Regarding John's question about MCI windshields; I had new windshields and gaskets installed in my MC-5 last summer !
No issues.

That's good to know Fred, my bus is a transit with a R&M fiberglass front with MCI windshields, I thought I saw a post earlier that these windshields were getting hard to find, I have a small rock chip that I need to get repaired.just concerned if I would eventually need a windshield. John.

Made it safe. Started a new thread about being stuck. Anyway MCI didn't replace the glass because they failed to order the gasket (they call it fencing) and we couldn't wait three days for it to come in. Yes they do have glass $190 per.
