What is it about this Prevost tire that makes its sidewalls splay out as far as they do? Are they running a wider tire? My tires on my MC9 look tall and narrow with almost straight sides. No pregnant bulge. Why do these tires have the bulge?

If you run a 315/80R-22.5 on a 8.25 rim. Or more likely running a 365 on a 9" rim.

If you run the prescribed tire pressures for the weight the wheel or axle is carrying all tires are going to bulge.

I have 365 steer and tag and 315 drive, and based on my axle weights I carry front to rear 100, 85, and 80. My axle weights front to rear are 18,000, 22,000, and 13,000. The tires wear evenly, the ride is good, and never a tire problem. When I use my IR gun to measure tire and hub temps the temp readings are almost identical at every position. There is no reason to not use the pressure charts the tire manufacturers provide.
