The switch in the photo is only for the jake Brake but does not have high idle control.  I have to replace the switch anyway because it's bad.

What is the switch called?
What is the switch with the high idle and jake buffer in one called?
Where can I find one?
Anyone have one laying around?

FWIW Mohawk had the fast idle buffer switch for under 200 a few weeks ago, don't remember the part number i used to find it though. I'm sure it's some kind of aftermarket setup that's been superceded at least a half dozen times.
Some are called, some are sent, some just got up and went.

The parts manual for my MC8 shows the complete fast idle buffer switch assembly (air cylinder and switch complete) as part number 8F-32-12. Mohawk shows that part number as cylinder assembly for  $83.15. I wonder if they have the decimal in the wrong place. If they really have the right part for that price I just might buy a dozen or so lol.

83 bucks is not a bad price on just the fast idle cylinder DD is over $300.00 and the aftermarket junk is around $200.00

Yeah you figured it right clifford. I searched the GM number that it crossed to and it is just the fast idle cylinder. So is the MCI number 8F-32-12 incorrect for the fast idle buffer switch? My book shows that number in 3 places.
