Trying to keep as much white as possible for heat reasons.. Wish I could paint the top half all gloss black but I would cook in it.

very nice
try not to paint the aluminum as  original is only once

You can also use an original paint scheme from the 60's

VERY nice! The paint schemes on RV's that have all the swirling paint just doesn't compute with me. Good Luck, TomC

A simple design is so much more classy, but I would strongly recommend against using gloss black - if it has to be black then satin black would be much better. Glass black is absolutely the worse colour for highlighting surface bumps and imperfections, and the skin of a 50-year-old riveted-together bus is one terrible mass of bumps and imperfections

A shameless plug for my business - visit www.magazineexchange.co.uk for back issue magazines - thousands of titles covering cars, motorbikes, aircraft, railways, boats, modelling etc. You'll find lots of interest, although not much covering American buses sadly.

Mine is the same layout, but with gold instead of black. Wimbledon white and Mayan gold. With gloss clear-coat on top and gold and semi-gloss clear-coat on white sides rdw
If you personally have not done it  , or saw it done.. do not say it cannot be done...1960 4104 6L71ta ddec Falfurrias Tx

Steve, I used Microsoft "Paint".  It's not great but it works OK.  Someone had published a drawing my bus for kids to print out on paper, color in, and then fold into a paper model bus.  I took that line drawing and sketched in color sections and lines.  On good thing about that program is that you can change a color block with just a couple of mouse clicks.  Also, I used it to look at possibilities for the modification to the design or position of doors and windows, etc.

Someone had done a vector drawing of a 4106, so it saved me drawing the outlines. I downloaded it and edited it in adobe illustrator.
