Came back yesterday from the AAPEX/SEMA show. Gigantic shows filling two convention centers-about 2 million sq/ft worth.

Bus ran perfectly (which is always a smiling affair). Cruised at 1900 @ 60mph. Got 7.68mpg pulling my car. This was one of those strange situations-on the way up, we had a tail wind since a storm was coming in. On the way home, we also had a tail wind since the storm had passed. What's the likelihood of that happening? Good Luck, TomC

Yes went up both Cajon and Baker grade. In both instances, with pulling my car (34,750lbs), the slowest I got on either grade was 40mph-and that was just at their steepest part. Usually more in the 45-47mph range. Good Luck, TomC

Tom -

In an earlier post, you mentioned that you're retiring from LA Freightliner.

Have you got an approximate date when you're going to hand over your order pad to the next generation?

About a month ago, I moved out of my office and another young buck has taken over. I left all my files behind for the new guy. I am just finishing out some of my orders. Have 5 more trucks on order I want to deliver, then done! Now can concentrate on finishing the truck conversion-hopefully "done" by next summer. Then off into the wild blue yonder! Good Luck, TomC
