Those single bus dwellers need to know that they live on a Tour Bus...

After much experimenting chatting up the ladies....

I live in a bus..... So you are homeless?  :-\

I live in an RV..... With your Grand Parents?  :-\

I live on a Tour Bus... Cool I want to see it! Can we go somewhere?  8)

How one of you pulled off "Hey baby I live on a Prison Bus..." I will never know...  ;D Scott...

I am not single--happily married for 30 yrs to a wife who "tolerates" my bus addiction.

When people find out I have a converted bus---they assume school bus!

I tell them no--Think converted Greyhound -- Tour bus

"I am with the Electric Mayhem, and we are on the slowest ever nationwide tour!"

I let them figure it out on their own ;D ;D ;)

Using a bus to chat up the ladies is like riding a bicycle to impress tree bark.

When I was single I found that my bus needed to be brought into a relationship very slowly, once there it was fine. I find that a bus is more of an old geezer magnet than a babe magnet.

Haha. This thread cracks me up. First, times be a changin. More and more of my peers (20's and 30's) are really interested in the "tiny house" movement and lifestyle. Buses actually fit into that category. So once our peers come into our bus and see it, they are super stoked and envious. We always seem to have people (friends and family) staying with us in the coach. So we have a comfy pull out memory foam couch sleeper for that purpose. Our bus never was actually a prison bus, but it got that nickname from the guys here on the forum after seeing it didn't have windows. That has since been remedied, but old habits die hard :) My wife, LOVES (all caps on purpose) living in a bus. I can't convince her to ever have a real house. Weird but true. She loves this lifestyle. Like a lot.

Women are strange, my wife of 43 years hated it when I was into Corvettes, old cars, military vehicles but for some reason loves the bus even though we are not completed yet. Now she is asking me if I could live in it full time. When I come home from work now she is waiting at the table with cheese and snacks and my bourbon waiting for Happy Hour to start.

What is it about a bus.......   We frequently have cheese and crackers or chips and dip at beer o'clock in the bus.  It's like an escape from reality.

It represents having the ability to just take off and go anywhere you want...  Even if it just sits there most of the time.   ::)

I feel about my bus what a pirate feels about his pirate ship. Both loved and indentured.

We have multiple places to live BUT we ended up living in the bus for a period of four and  a half months.  Billie (my girlfriend) said that it was fine for three months but the winter weather made for too much close time in the bus.  A friend of mine said well Mel you just have to figure -- living with Billie in the bus would be easy for a long time BUT Billie having to live with you???? ::) three months is plenty.

Sometimes it is just a matter of perspective.
